| Introduction Intumescent putty
has been specially developed to provide an effective seal against fire, smoke and gases.
It is non setting and can be easily removed, reworked, replaced or pierced, so can be used
as a permanent or temporary fire seal in walls, floors and partitions where fire
performance is required.
Applications
Intumescent Putty seals around cables, metal pipes, electrical trunking and
other penetrations to prevent the passage of fire, heat transfer and cold smoke. |

| To seal fire resistant door grilles within the depth of a fire
door construction. Inside electrical terminal boxes and behind electrical socket housings
in fire compartment walls to achieve a fire seal. Deep joints may be plugged with non
combustible mineral wool packing prior to sealing with intumescent putty. Will not shrink
or crack after application. Adheres to all common building substrates. Surfaces should be
free from oils, grease and dust. Will provide up to a 2 hour fire rating. Suitable to seal
gaps up to a maximum of 30mm wide x I 30mm deep. Note: All sizes in mm
